Volunteer Opportunities
Young adults, moms, dads, retired couples — everyone has a place at Royal Family KIDS Camp serving these precious children. RFK Camp is all about the children. The adult to child ratio is 2:1 providing the best possible experience for our campers. Activities are purposefully designed to be non-competitive and non-threatening while allowing children to experience success. God’s love is modeled consistently, through the games, sports, activity centers, Bible stories, drama and quiet times the campers share with their guides.
Guides
The primary role of a Guide is to care and cheer for your campers as you walk along side them through the daily activities of camp. This role requires energy, patience, love, and a willingness to look beyond your own needs in order to wholeheartedly serve the children in your care. Guides arrive at camp the day before the campers to prepare the cabins and welcome the campers as they arrive. Each Guide is responsible for 2 campers in order to provide the very best care for our campers.
Support Staff
The different areas involved with being on staff at our Royal Family KIDS Camps include Kitchen Staff, Nurse, Licensed Counselor/Social Worker, Life Guard, Drama, Music, Woodshop, Event Coordinator, Fisherman, Grandpa and Grandma, Cinderella, Activities and more. While the Guides spend most of their time with their 2 assigned campers, staff members have the opportunity to interact with more of the kids. Training is mandatory.
